Applications of Prenatal DNA Testing

A planned pregnancy is always considered better than an unplanned one, and one of the best ways of planning a normal healthy baby is to conduct a prenatal DNA test, before pregnancy. Such tests are also conducted after conception. The purpose of this test is to detect the seeds of genetic disorders or life threatening diseases early in the day, so that preventive care can begin as soon as the child is born. Genetic testing is also suitable for detecting serious birth defects in unborn babies.
